Have you noticed that when I say I'll write about something tomorrow, I'm usually lying? I assure you it's not the plan -- things just work out like that. Most of the time it's because the thing I wanted to say just didn't come out the way I wanted, so I have to put it off and let it cook for a while. Writing's hard. Always has been.
Anyway, I'm still ruminating over the role of Evangelion 1.0's detailed backgrounds in my wholehearted, fantastic, and unexpected enjoyment of the film. In the meantime, here's what I'm planning to watch in the next month or so. (Why yes, this is filler.):
- Paranoia Agent -- I started this while it was coming out, but never finished it. I really liked the first half, I've liked Kon's stuff since Perfect Blue, and now I'm going to finish.
- Ghost in the Shell -- Would you believe I've never seen the TV series? Even Tycho from Penny-Arcade has endorsed it. I mean, really. Inexcusable.
- Negima!? -- Shinbou's my favorite director. Visually, anyway. I'm watching this no matter what, and the same goes for Zoku Zetsubou Sensei.
All right, enough of that. Back to work.
