a model for us all.

I've been watching the videos from the Touhou 2008 Flowering Night live, which is -- as far as I know, which isn't very far -- an annual concert put on by some of the more well-known bands that do Touhou arranges.

Frankly, I think the quality of the show is incredible. (I'm not a connoisseur, though, please note.) This is clearer sound and better mixing than I've ever heard out of a live show. The lighting is excellent. The video's well-produced. It's slick, like even professional concert footage often isn't.

I don't know -- is this the power of the Touhou fans? How did they get together and pull this off? And why can't we seem to manage it?
