As happens pretty often, I just don't know what to say about ABe Yoshitoshi's doujinshi release on Amazon.

I mean, it's got an English translation. It costs a dollar. It's by ABe, whose work I genuinely love. It's self-published, as far as I can tell, which is kind of terrifyingly wonderful. I'm not conflicted, but there are so many threads here that I'm not sure which to pull.

But I'm sure of one thing: That this is another sign that the game is changing, that publishing and distribution will never be the same. They may not look like this, but they'll be different from what they are today.
