A long time ago I wrote that we don't really have an off-season anymore. As you might guess, this was somewhere between an exaggeration and a lie on the big scale of falsehoods.

Turns out that we're in the middle of our off-season right now. Everyone's gearing up for Fanime and enjoying spring. I find it hard to believe -- two months out? Really? -- but that's what I've been told.

And it certainly looks like a quiet weekend coming up. I'm not ready to concede error yet, but it might happen. Who knows? What black art can pierce the veils obscuring the future?
