Yume Nikki, once again.

I found this video while looking for background on the last post. It's almost perfect -- most of the best, most chilling and poignant things about the game, condensed and distilled. And the music fits so perfectly it's hard to believe it could be about anything else. Every specific detail of the lyrics feels right, like it applies to Yume Nikki perfectly and nothing else. Even the title,「 大事なものは目蓋の裏」 ("The most important things are right behind your eyelids") might have been written for Madotsuki's dreaming life.

Two things about this video: first, it's got spoilers for the entire game. I don't mind that kind of thing, but you might. Second, Madotsuki's kind of insane, and her dream world might be disturbing. It's melancholy, like most of our minds when brought into the light.
