Opening Ceremonies

The opening ceremonies mark the usual official beginning of an anime convention. Of course, this being Ani-Magic, this wouldn't be right without it being done at night at poolside. Notably missing, however, was the presence of any taiko group (like Venice Koshin Taiko, which had performed at previous Ani-Magics during opening ceremonies.
